Somogyi dumplings

20 dkg
egg
to taste
wholegrain flour
20 dkg
salt

in addition:

1 head
thinly sliced ??meaty bacon
1 gerezd
onion
1 tablespoon
garlic
2-3 dl
grounded red pepper
40 dkg
Mizo lactose free sour cream

Instructions:

 

Cut the bacon to strips, fry then set them aside. Fry the chopped onions on the bacon fat, sprinkle with the peppers, pour over the sour cream, put the bacon back in the pot and set aside.
Stir in the flour with the eggs, salt, and cut dumplings from the dough into hot, boiling water. Once the dumplings come to the surface of the water, cook for approx. 1 more minute, then drain the dumplings. Stir in the sour cream sauce and serve immediately.
Tip:For 4 people, made with whole wheat flour and 3 dl of sour cream, it contains 35g of carbohydrate per serving.
