Cottage cheese dip (Hungarian “körözött”)

Mizo semi-fat cottage cheese
2-3 tablespoons
Mizo sour cream (20%)

purple onion chopped
to taste
salt
to taste
freshly ground pepper
1
heaped teaspoon ground red pepper
to taste
ground cumin
to taste
cumin grains

for serving:

to taste
chopped chili
to taste
toast

Instructions:

 

Mix the cottage cheese and sour cream into a creamy mixture, then add the red onions. Add salt, pepper, and finally mix in the cumin and red pepper, too. Spread on toast and serve sprinkled with chili.
