Classic Gingerbread Shapes That Will Make Everyone Smile

all-purpose flour
35 dkg
powdered sugar
0,5 tbsp
baking soda
0,5 tbsp
cinnamon
1 packet
gingerbread spice mix

margarine

honey

Instructions:
There’s nothing more Christmassy than the smell of gingerbread filling your home! This treat is a classic for a reason. Once they’re baked, decorating them with fun shapes is a great activity for everyone!
Mix the flour with powdered sugar, baking soda, and spices in a bowl, then add the slightly melted margarine. Next, mix in the 4 eggs and honey. Add a little milk to help the dough come together.
Wrap the dough in foil and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then, roll it out to about 3mm thick (or thinner if you prefer). Cut out shapes using fun cookie cutters. Finally, brush with the beaten egg and bake until golden brown.
Once baked, you can decorate the gingerbread with the kids if you like. There are no rules here—get creative with the designs! A grumpy gingerbread or a smiling reindeer face? Anything goes!
