Melopita (Greek honey cheesecake)
Ingredients
For a 28 cm baking tray
50dkg
Mizo lactose-free cottage cheese
80 ml
honey
4 pcs
egg
1 heaped tablespoon
corn starch
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
1 tablespoon
Mizo lactose-free butter
to taste
ground cinnamon
to taste
honey
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Mix the cottage cheese thoroughly with the eggs. Add honey, starch and vanilla. Pour into the greased baking dish, tap the dish a few times to the kitchen counter to remove excess air from the dough and bake the cake for approx. 30 minutes. Bake until golden brown. Allow to cool in the baking dish, then sprinkle with cinnamon and honey.
