Hungarian rice cake

Ingredients


30 dkg
rice
1 l
Mizo milk (2.8%)
1 pinch of
salt
5
eggs
2 teaspoons of
vanilla sugar
20 dkg
powdered sugar
10 dkg
Mizo butter

for serving:


apricot or strawberry jam

Instructions:

 

Cook the rice in the salted milk until soft, set aside and allow to cool.

Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolks with the two types of sugars and butter, then stir into the cooled rice. Beat the egg whites into a hard foam and gently roll it into the rice as well. Spread the mass in a baking tray, sprinkled with breadcrumbs, and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown. After it has cooled, cut into cubes and serve with apricot or strawberry jam.
