ARANYGALUSKA (GOLDEN WALNUT DUMPLINGS)

Ingredients

fresh yeast
1,5 dl
Mizo milk (2.8%)
30 dkg
flour
3 dkg
powdered sugar
1 pinch of
salt
3 dkg
Mizo butter

FOR THE FORM: továbbá:

ground nuts
to taste
ground cinnamon
10 dkg
sugar

melted Mizo butter

FOR THE CREAM:

8 dl
Mizo milk (2.8%)

vanilla pod’s seeds
4 dkg
flour
2 package of
vanilla sugar (2×1 dkg)

Instructions:

 

For the dough dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk. Mix it with the rest of the ingredients to make a nice smooth dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. Stretch it to the thickness of a finger and cut out dumplings with a pastry cutter. Dip them all in melted butter and layer them in a greased cake tin of about 26 cm, sprinkling them with cinnamon, sugar and ground nuts. Make sure that the pieces are not too close together. Sprinkle the top with the nut mixture. Let rise for 20 minutes, then bake in a preheated, fan oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
