Instructions:
Dissolve the yeast in sugary milk. Mix the flour and salt. Mix the egg yolk, sour cream and oil. Knead the dry and wet ingredients –just enough that they do not stick and make sure not to make the dough too hard. Let it rise for at least 1 hour, then form 8 buns and place them on a baking tray. Cover the buns with a clean kitchen towel, let them rise for another 30-60 minutes, spread lightly beaten egg on them and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated 180 degree C oven for 30-45 minutes.
For the hamburger meat, peel and dice onions and sauté them in vegetable oil. Remove the fat and knead it together with all other ingredients. Shape hamburger discs and fry both sides well on the grill.
Mix the sauce ingredients.
Once everything is ready cut the bun in half, lightly grease it with butter and fry the buttered side on the grill until golden brown. Put lettuce leaves on the lower half of the bun, sprinkle with the sauce and put the meat on top. Put cheese slices on the top, then tomatoes, peppers and red onions. Sprinkle with sauce again, then close the burger with the top half of the bun.
Tip:It is worth baking the buns 1 day ahead. The quantity of the individual ingredients of the sauce can be varied to your taste.
